Karlshamns kommun is a municipality in Blekinge län in southern Sweden. It borders to Olofströms kommun, Sölvesborgs kommun, Ronneby kommun and Tingsryds kommun. The city Karlshamn is the seat of the municipality.

The amalgamation of the units in the area took place in 1967 when the Karlshamns stad was merged with Asarums landskommun, Hällaryds landskommun and Mörrums landskommun. The whole territory had formally city status until 1971, when all local government units in Sweden became municipalities of unitary type.
