Humphrey is a town in Cattaraugus County, New York, United States. The population was 701 at the 2020 census.[1] The town is named after Charles Humphrey, who at the time of the town's founding was Speaker of the New York State Assembly. Humphrey is an interior town in the eastern half of the county, northeast of the city of Salamanca. [edit] History
