The cemetery sits at the corner of Miami Trail and 1st Road, northwest of the city of Bremen. According to a plaque which photograph has been uploaded to the Find A Grave cemetery place record, the cemetery was established in 1841. Aerial imagery available via OpenStreetMap shows that the cemetery sits at the northwest corner of an agricultural field, and residences are found to the north and west across 1st Road and Miami Trail, respectively. According to Annis, pg 29, the agricultural field is part of "the original Phillip Huff Farm".
