Hudswell is a village and civil parish on the border of the Yorkshire Dales, in the Richmondshire District of North Yorkshire, England. The population at the UK Census 2011 (carried out by the Office of National Statistics) was 353 (including the neighbouring parishes of Downholme, Easby and Stainton, each of which had less than 100 inhabitants).

It lies approximately 2 miles west of Richmond, its nearest town, 3 miles northwest of Catterick Garrison and 12½ miles southwest of Darlington.

The civil parish of Hudswell contains the hamlet of Brokes, 1.5 miles (2.4 km) to the south of the village of Hudswell.
