the following text is based on an article in Wikipedia

Hilton of Cadboll, or simply Hilton, (Scottish Gaelic: Baile a' Chnuic) is a village about 15 km (9 mi) southeast of Tain in Easter Ross, in the Scottish council area of Highland. It is famous for the Hilton of Cadboll Stone.

Hilton of Cadboll, Balintore, and Shandwick, located in a row along the North Sea coast, are known collectively as the "Seaboard Villages". They are all located in the parish of Fearn in the traditional county of Ross and Cromarty.

NOTE: Wikipedia has withdrawn its entry of Hilton (near Portmahomack), Highland because it referred only to a single farm further up the peninsula from Hilton of Cadboll. Inverness has a suburb named Hilton and there is also a small settlement just south of Tain. (For the sake of differentiation this has been named Hilton (Tain) in WeRelate.)
