The Cemetery has a sign which includes a passage from Longfellow's "A Psalm of Life" according to Source:Raitz, Karl. Guide to the National Road, pg 297. Also according to this source (pg. 298), "a depression through the center of the cemetery is possibly the right of way of the original Road."
