• "FRANKLIN CENTRE, a post village and port of entry in Huntingdon co., Que., on Outard River, 8 miles from Ormstown and 16 iniles from Hemmingford, on G.T.R. It contains 2 churches, 2 stores, 1 carriage factory, 1 hotel and 1 saw mill. Pop. 375."
