Ewing College was founded in 1868 in Ewing Township near the Franklin-Jefferson county border.

History

A post office was established at Ewing College on March 5, 1879 and was operating simultaneously with the Ewing village post office until October 14, 1890 when it joined with the Ewing village post office. The Ewing post office is still in operation.^[1]
