East Rigton is a village in the civil parish of Bardsey cum Rigton within the Metropolitan Borough of Leeds in West Yorkshire, England. Prior to 1974, the parish was located in Wetherby Rural District.
Historically, East Rigton was in the ecclesiastical parish of Bardsey in the Lower division of the Skyrack Wapentake. From 1894 until 1974, East Rigton was located in Wetherby Rural District. In 1974 the area became part of the Harrogate District of North Yorkshire.
