Coventry Rural District was established in 1894 to cover the rural sections of the two ecclesiastical and civil parishes that made up Coventry. The inner part of Coventry became a county borough at the same time. The rural district stayed in place until 1928 when both parishes were absorbed back into Coventry again. Coventry Holy Trinity Without was located to the north of Coventry in two detached sections; Coventry St. Michael Without was located to the south of the borough. [edit] List of Parishes
