Located on FM 1700, about eight miles northeast of Clarksville. In April 1854, Richard F. Giddens conveyed one acre of his survey to the Concord Baptist Church, land that had already begun to be used as a family cemetery. (The oldest marked burial is that of Joseph R. Giddens who died 12 Aug 1847.) Richard was a veteran of the Black Hawk War in Illinois, had come to Texas about 1832, and was a deacon of the Concord Church. He died in 1870 and is buried here as well. The cemetery is still in use (though not much) and there are about 90 known burials.
