A name has been given to this cemetery based on the name of the associted Church as a start_date has not been found for the cemetery itself. The Christiana Presbyterian Church was estabslished c. 1732.

The cemetery grounds are accesible from Route 7 just north of its junction with E/W Main Street in Christiana. The grounds cover ~3.4 acres and there is room for additional interments. A single asphalt drive circles the interrior to the cemetery. Burials can be characterized as being in three broad areas: inside the drive circle, outside the drive circle and inside the fenced burial area as the 'back' of the grounds.
