Chatham–Kent is a unitary authority in southwestern Ontario, Canada, formed in 1998 from all the municipalities in Kent County and its principal city, Chatham.

Because most historical records of the county refer to Kent, all places in the county are filed under the name of the former county. Unless the event occurred since 1998, Kent County should be the location used.
