Location

Center Township Cemetery is located on the west edge of Section 25 of Center Township in Emmet County, Iowa, two miles south of Highway 9 at Gruver, Iowa and one and one-half mile to the east. The cemetery is back in a field. John E. Klingbeil had the plat. It was surveyed 11 Oct 1887 by E. J. Woods and became a cemetery 1 Nov 1887. The cemetery has been neglected and many names and dates are illegible. Also known as the Swan Lake Village Cemetery.
