[edit] Research TipsAs far as I know, the Town of Cedar Springs, California is not an inhabited place. It lies at the bottom of Silverwood Lake in Los Angeles County, and the Cedar Springs Dam is named after this inundated town. California has two towns named Cedar Ridge (both in the north part of the state), one called Cedarpines Park, and one called Cedarville. No existing Cedar Springs. I am writing a brochure about Silverwood Lake State Recreation Area, and came across your site while trying to get information about the former town of Cedar Springs. So far no luck. Long drowned, but not entirely forgotten. |
