Cannock Chase is a local government district in the county of Staffordshire, England. It covers a large part of Cannock Chase forest and the towns of Cannock, Rugeley and Hednesford.

The district was formed on 1 April 1974 by the merger of Cannock and Rugeley urban districts, plus Brindley Heath from Lichfield Rural District.
