Caldecote is a village in Cambridgeshire, England, in the South Cambridgeshire District of the county of Cambridgeshire, England. It is located south of the A428 road, approximately six miles west of Cambridge and three miles east of Cambourne.

Nearby settlements are Hardwick and Toft to the east, Bourn to the west, Childerley to the north and Kingston to the south. Bourn Airfield lies on the northwest edge of the village.

The population, according to the UK census of 2011, was 1,737. This included the population of Childerley which had less than 100 inhabitants. This combining of a small parish with a neighbouring one is a common practice in assessing the data in modern censuses.
