Brighton is a parish in Carleton County, New Brunswick, Canada. The parish was established in 1830.

The area of the parish is 508.34 km2 (196.27 sq mi) and the population in 2011 was 1,764. There were 807 dwellings counted. The population density was calculated at 3.5/km2 (9/sq mi). The population was considered to be 95% English-speaking.

The parish was formed in 1830 from Wakefield Parish before Carleton County had separated from the adjacent York County a year later. It was named for the town of Brighton in England. Brighton Parish included Peel Parish until 1859. (Source:Place Names of New Brunswick)
