Bexhill on Sea (often simply Bexhill) is a seaside town situated in the county of East Sussex in southeast England. An ancient town and part of the local-government district of Rother District, Bexhill is home to a number of archaeological sites, a Manor House in the Old Town, an abundance of Edwardian and Victorian architecture, an auditorium and the famous De La Warr Pavilion: today a centre for contemporary art. Unfortunately, the Second World War caused substantial bomb-damage to the town.

Prior to 1974 Bexhill on Sea was classed as a municipal borough. Its present area is 32.31 km2 (12.47 sq mi) and population estimates for 2007 and 2015 yielded 41,173 and 43,478 respectively. The various neighbourhoods surrounding the town itseld include: Sidley (on the north), Pebsham (on the east), and Barnhorn, Cooden, Little Common and Collington (on the west).
