Banks is a city in Washington County, Oregon, United States and is located within the Tualatin Valley. It is also the southern anchor to the Banks–Vernonia State Trail, which is a 21 mile long linear trail popular with bicyclists. The population was 1,777 at the 2010 census.[1] The community was named for settler Robert Banks and his father, John Banks.
