Aubeterre-sur-Dronne (literally Aubeterre on Dronne; or Aubaterra de Drona), commonly referred to as Aubeterre, is a commune in the Charente department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of Southwestern France. In 2017, it had a population of 386.[1] Its inhabitants are known as Aubeterriens (masculine) or Aubeterriennes (feminine).

Located on the river Dronne, on the departmental border with Dordogne, Aubeterre-sur-Dronne has been officially listed as "One of the most beautiful villages in France" since 1993. It is well known for its Church of Saint Jean, an underground, Monolithic church.
