Ariano Irpino (formerly Ariano di Puglia or simply Ariano) is an Italian city and municipality in the province of Avellino, in the Campania region. With a population of 22,535 (2017),[1] it is the second-largest settlement of the Irpinia district and the province, with Avellino itself being the largest.
