Anjar is a town, tehsil and municipality of the Kachchh district in the state of Gujarat, India. It is a town of historic importance, located in Southern Kachchh, around 40 kilometres away from one of the biggest ports in India, Kandla Port. Founded around 650 AD, Anjar is claimed to be the oldest town in the Kachchh district.
