Allerston is a village and civil parish in the Ryedale District of North Yorkshire, England, about five miles east of Pickering. According to the 2001 UK census, the parish had a population of 309.
Prior to the nationwide municipal reorganization of 1974, Allerston was located in Pickering Rural District. Historically, it was an ecclesiastical parish in the Pickering Lythe Wapentake. It was in the Pickering Registration District. For more information, see the EN Wikipedia article Allerston.
