It is in the neighborhood of the Sutton River, a good farming section of country. It has 2 churches, Union and Episcopalian, 3 stores, 1 hotel, saw and grist mills, 2 factories, telegraph and express offices. Half a mile from Vermont boundary. Pop. 150."
