"ABERCORN, a post village and port of entry in Brome co., Que., on the Missisquoi River, and on the C. P. R., 65 miles from Montreal. It is in the neighborhood of the Sutton River, a good farming section of country. It has 2 churches, Union and Episcopalian, 3 stores, 1 hotel, saw and grist mills, 2 factories, telegraph and express offices. Half a mile from Vermont boundary. Pop. 150."
