Sure would like to see a source cited ... [29 January 2010]

For the birthdate. Because after searching several possible sources, including NEHGS's vital records of Hingham, Cutter, Stearns, etc., none that I found give this date in 1651. Most don't even estimate a date. A book on books.google.com called "Recollections of a long life" by Joseph Packard, says p. 7, "My great-great-grandfather, Zaccheus was born in 1653 and married Sarah Howard...". Another source said "ca. 1643/4". Another mentioned Zacheus (1657-1723). So it would be interesting, with all this uncertainty, how we know 20 Apr 1651 is his precise birthdate? --Jrich 22:37, 29 January 2010 (EST)

I don't know where I got it originally, but it was a long time ago. Since his is a collateral line to mine I had not pursued it.
