Is Sarah Sedgwick, wife of Gov. John Leverett, daughter of this William Sedgwick. [1 July 2012]

Genealogical Gleanings in England (NEHGR 42:69 (1888)] names five children of William Sedgwick: (1) Major Robert of Charlestown, Mass.; (2) Rev. John of St. Saviour, Southwark, Surrey; (3) Rev. William of Farnham, Essex; (4) Francis probably of London; (5) Mary wife of Robert Houghton. Wyman (Charlestown) says that Sarah who married John Leverett was "most probably" daughter of Major Robert, but she seems to be almost a full generation older than his known children born here. Is there any record which reasonably connects Sarah (Sedgwick) Leverett with Major Robert Sedgwick?--jaques1724 18:35, 1 July 2012 (EDT)
