If his middle initials were "H. H.", it almost certainly stands for "Henry Harrison." William Henry Harrison was the 9th president of the U.S. (1841) and had been governor of the Indiana Territory. He was the victor at the Battle of Fallen Timbers, and was a major figure in the War of 1812.
