William Lyon soldier Mexican War? [9 March 2018]

William Mosby Lyon may have taken part in the Mexican-American War from Dec.1847-Jul.1848. I have a Old War document listing a William Lyon as a private in the 5th Rgt. Tenn. Vols. His Pension request is in 1851. He would have been 35 if it's the same man. See [1]--Babo 10:28, 9 March 2018 (UTC)
