[add comment] [edit] William Lumkin and Thomasine Constable [24 August 2014]This couple is a mystery and I wish we could firm up the facts, particularly about Thomasine. There is no proof that her name was Constable. That is, there are no primary sources to confirm it. As for her marriage to William, the town of Yarmouth wasn't settled until 1639, so they couldn't have been married there. There are some sources on ancestry that indicate that William and Thomasine and three of their four daughters arrived in New England on the Rose in 1637. I am going to try to confirm this.
