What is his correct death date? [4 December 2010]

There is a disconnect between the death date given (27 Feb 1248) and the sources. He is said to have died at the Battle of Al Mansura, which took place (according to Wikipedia) 8 Feb to 11 Feb 1250. The Wikipedia article on William Longespee says he died 8 Feb 1250.

Is there a source for a death date of 27 Feb 1248? If not, at some point in time I will likely change the death date to 8 Feb 1250, as per Wikipedia. --DataAnalyst 15:13, 4 December 2010 (EST)
