This is wrong, 2 brothers, Thomas and John, sons of Governor Thomas Welles and Alice Tomes have been combined on these pages, married to each others wives as well as their own. I believe John was married to Elizabeth Bourne as his only wife and Thomas married Hannah Tuttle. Who married Elizabeth Curtis, I cannot say. This appears to have been addressed over the years. John Wells, son of Hugh, who had two children born in Stratford and then removed to Hadley, was married to one Sarah Curtis. How an Elizabeth Curtis got into the discussion is a mystery.--jaques1724 22:51, 17 October 2013 (UTC)
