Thomas PAGE (1633-1720) Last Will and Testament WILL OF THOMAS PAGE, OF VIRGINIA, DATED 1720I Thomas Page, of the Isle of Wight county, being at present very well and perfect in sense and memory, praise be to God for ye same; and calling to mind ye uncertainty of this life, do constitute this, my ÙSLast Will and TestamentÙT, in manner and form following; committing my soul to God, my creator and my body to ye earth to have a Christian like burial by my executor, John Page.First: I give my wife. Alis, liberty and privileges to live on my plantation and in my house, but not to have liberty to sell or lease, only while she lives, neither her part nor the part that I bequeath unto my son.Second: I bequeath unto my son, Thomas Jr.; a gun and a sett of shewmakers tooles.Thirdly: I give and bequeath unto my daughters, Rebecca and Mary, five shillings, and no more.Fourthly:I give and bequeath to my daughter, Alis, five shillings, already received by her, and no more.Fifthly: I give and bequeath to my grandchild, _____ Gay, one cow and a calf; & one copper kettle; & one iron pot.Sixthly: I give and bequeath unto my son, John, all the rest of my estate; all my land; and, all my other goods and estate, forever unto him and his heirs. It is also my desire that ye, my son John, shall take care of his mother; that she does not want for food or ramont during her life. I do further appoint, constitute, and ordain my son, John, to be executor of this, my last will and testament.
