Person talk:Thomas Packard (2)

Sources needed to justify a less than obvious set of data. [20 May 2014]

Four Peck, presumed to be Packard, children are baptized in 1646 in Hingham (NEHGR, p. 121:19): Elizabeth, Samuel, Hannah and Israel. Mary is the oldest Packard child, and perhaps was baptized elsewhere (Weymouth?), but there is a problem with Thomas because he falls between Elizabeth and Samuel in birth order. One would surmise therefore, that he died before 1646. However, somehow, he appears to have obtained the title Ensign in his brief life. One would think it might be nice if the source for this factoid, or anything else about him, was provided? --Jrich 02:54, 21 May 2014 (UTC)
