See Person talk:William Knowlton (1) for why I have unlinked William and Thomas from the family of William and Ann Elizabeth (Smith) Knowlton. William and Thomas were brothers - or, at least, William had a brother named Thomas, and Deacon Thomas referred to Thomas, his brother William's eldest son. There is no evidence that either were related to William and Ann Knowlton, and it is known that they were not brothers to William and Ann's other supposed son, John. --DataAnalyst 22:27, 27 October 2010 (EDT)
