Is a source cite really a duplicate, if it quotes a text that is subtly different from a different page? I thought about this question when I was deciding whether to add this yesterday or not, and decided that I was working from page 1 of the text to see what a "complete" approach might look like. I guess I don't care a lot, because my real feeling is that we want to work toward a day when the sources themselves are part of our wiki space - and we add the hyperlinks there as well. Still, I was aware of the level of duplication and came to another conclusion. Do you have some greater familiarity with this reference, that leads you to a different view? In the meantime, I'll take a middle view and add a note indicating that the different pages contain practical duplicates of the record. Thanks! --jrm03063 12:14, 12 December 2012 (EST) |
