From Susanna Worcester (2): Child of William Worcester or widow of Timothy Worcester? [25 January 2010]

Susanna Worcester's marriage to Henry Ambrose is in the Vital Records of Salisbury, MA, (1:264). Although other sources {Essex Antiquarian 3:74) say that Henry Ambrose married the widow of Timothy Worcester, William Worcester's will {Essex Antiquarian 6:177) indicates he may have had a daughter Susanna as well. However, it is also possible that William Worcester's reference to his daughter in his will is a reference to his son's wife.--Brenda (kennebec1) 19:01, 25 January 2010 (EST)

William Worcester had a daughter Susanna baptized Olney, Bucks, 3 May 1634 - see TAG 71:50-51 (1996). According to Hoyt (Salisbury) 1:368, the Susanna Worcester who married Henry Ambrose was the widow of Timothy.--jaques1724 15:16, 23 February 2012 (EST)
