Hello Jennifer. I mape a new page for Sjoerd Brandsma born Oct 1873. I assume that he must be the younger brother of Sjoerd Brandsma born 1872. I thinks they are not the same person. The time between both the births is more then a year. I think Sjoerd (1872) died before the birth of his youger brother. Thats why they have the same name. If you don't agree please remove this page. Hi Paul, you are right, they are not the same person. I removed the "alternate birth date" that was on the Sjoerd (1872) page. I have every birth for Leeuwarderadeel in WR, but there are a few instances like this page where they were inadvertently merged into one person. --Jennifer (JBS66) 14:34, 11 August 2011 (EDT)
