[add comment] [edit] birthdate [22 August 2016]I removed the birthdate of 1676 in Dorchester. Why a family in Warwick, RI, would have a child in Dorchester strains credulity (borrowing a phrase from Pirates of the Caribbean) but without any sources to justify it, appears to be simply name matching and even more UNbelieveable given that there are no sources to justify such an unusual event. There is a different John Weeks living in Dorchester and I can see no reason not to believe that the Sarah b. in Dorchester in 1676 is not his daughter. Torrey gives the marriage of John Wickes and Rose Townsend as before 1677, indicating that he believed John was their first child. --Jrich 03:04, 23 August 2016 (UTC) |
