Wife of Sarah McKee [13 September 2011]

The link used as a citation to Sarah McKee as the wife of Hugh Cunningham does not contain any source content. Hugh's first wife was killed at the Second Kerr's Creek Massacre per Hugh's petition to the Virginia House of Burgesses on 19 Jan. 1764. Therefore the deeds, (and Hugh's will) naming a wife Sarah (all of which postdate 1764) are for his second wife whose name "was" Sarah. What evidence is there that his first wife was also a Sarah, and specifically Sarah McKee?--DVPowell 12:04, 13 September 2011 (EDT)
