From Samuel Spooner (12): middle names [24 September 2017]

Middle names were uncommon prior to the Revolution. Thus I removed the initial "S". It is not mentioned by any source I have seen and probably is the result of misreading the NEGHS memorial for his son (Vol. 26, p. 104) that said his son was the child of Zerviah Hale and Samuel S., but the S. means Spooner, not a middle initial. --Jrich 14:58, 24 September 2017 (UTC)
