Person talk:Samuel Hinsdale (5)

From Samuel Hinsdale (6): Mother [10 August 2012]

"Samuel Hinsdale2 (Robert1), son of Deacon Robert Hinsdale and his first wife, Ann Woodward [possible, but not proved]"

Shouldnt the name Woodward be moved to an altname and the name given as 'Ann Unknown', then?

I looked at that short article you used as a source so I could help on this line but it only spoke of the discovered baptisms of the first two children. The Hinsdale/Johnson lines could use some help.--Daniel Maxwell 19:52, 9 August 2012 (EDT)

I'm working on the Hinsdale right now, but after tomorrow, I'm gone for almost all of the next two weeks. I believe I have enough information to also clean up the Johnson side later on. As far as Ann is concerned, if it were up to me alone, I'd do exactly what you suggest, but I thought I'd wait a bit and see if anyone else trips over my recent changes. Thanks for noticing, though.--jaques1724 00:02, 10 August 2012 (EDT)

Im looking at the sources for Heath right now - prominent in the Johnson tree since the marriage of Captain John Johnson was discovered, which seem to disprove at least the earliest Heath, Edward, having a Cheney wife (alot of intermarriage with this family). I have removed the surname from his wife Alices page, but I probably should have asked first if anything later showed she had that name (I dont have access to as many newer issues of the Register as you do). The family of Edward in 'Heath Connection' is shown to be only twelve children instead of the 15 or 17 he has now. Im reluctant to remove parentage if anything shows more of them.

If youre going to be gone, Ill work on it a bit from what I have access to, but this line is quite a mess at the moment and it might take awhile to clean up. There is alot of misinformation about the Johnsons, many guesses as to his parentage, and who knows if all of the children attributed to him on WR are true.--Daniel Maxwell 05:54, 10 August 2012 (EDT)
