1. Overview needs more information about Samuel post King's Mountain. Did he remain in SW VA? What about his children? Q 22:18, 25 March 2009 (EDT)

2. Information on his wife is needed. What is the evidence that she was Elizabeth Edmiston? What is the evidence that Elizabeth was the daughter of Samuel's uncle David? Samuel was supposedly born 1738. That means that He would have married no earlier than c1758, on Borden's Grant. While there are records for David Edmiston's in the area, it's not clear that any of them pertain to David, Samuel's Uncle. Most seem to be related to David Turk Edmiston, which seems to be an independent line. Absent direct evidence that his wife was Elizabeth dau. of Uncle David, I think this probably should be removed from the sidebar. Q 20:20, 2 April 2009 (EDT)
