Ruth's Burial [20 December 2014]

I don't think there is any credible evidence for the burial of Ruth (Beckwith) Royce in Norwich, Woodbury, or anyplace else in Connecticut. I can't find a record of her gravestone inscription in the Hale Collection on ancestry.com. I surmise that the Find A Grave contributor concluded that she was buried in Norwich since she was born and married there. However, the only record of her death seems to be at Woodbury, some 70 miles from Norwich. Absent both the Hale Collection inscription and an image of a gravestone, my conclusion is that the Find A Grave Memorial is unreliable as to her place of death and burial.
