Origin of Robert Churchill [24 July 2012]

Long article in The American Genealogist (27:102-14), William Churchill and Edward Churchill, augmented by a note under the same title, TAG 32:23, concludes that William and Susanna Churchill did not have a son Robert, and implies that his origin and parentage were, as of 1955, unknown.--jaques1724 14:22, 24 July 2012 (EDT)

I missed that one Jaques. Documentation on the Manhattan Churchills is thin, and doesnt appear to have changed since the Churchill book was written (hence why I used it). Might you share with me what it does say about Robert Churchill? (BTW Im starting to think we should communicate privately since so many of our lines converge)--DMaxwell 14:24, 24 July 2012 (EDT)

OK NEHGS had both of those articles. Thanks for bringing this article to my attention. I will review it and revise what I had put down for the Manhattan Churchills. (Note - I only have access to the free version of NEHGS's website so some of the journals, books, etc I dont have access to).--DMaxwell 14:39, 24 July 2012 (EDT)
