I removed the death date of 9 DEC 1689 in Newbury. No source is given and no such death record is found in the Newbury VRs. The Essex Antiquarian, p. 13:120, "Descendants of Thomas Brown of Newbury", says she is "probably" the person listed in Newbury VRs, p. 1:70: Browne, Rebecca, and John Badger, Oct. 5, 1691. John and Rebecca have several children born in Newbury, the last in 1700. This conclusion is also found in NEHGR, p. 6:102, and Source:Whitcher, William F.
