Moore's of Albemarle County, Virginia [18 February 2015]

I am researching Pleasant Moore born about 1778 in Virginia. There is a marriage record for him and an Orpha Harlan and a second wife Nancy Mullins Ricks. It is also believed his daughter (with wife Orpha) Nancy Moore married Jesse Pace, all of Albemarle County as well. I am descendent from Nancy Mullins and her first husband Gilbert Ricks. I am also descendent from Nancy Moore and her husband Jesse Pace. I have never been able to find any proof outside of the two marriage records for how these people may be related.

My theory, so far, is that Pleasant Moore is the son of Platt Moore and his wife, Milly Langford. I have discovered the Moon's that were in the area at the same time... a Pleasant Moon and his family. There are several records that could be Moore or Moon and are confusing. So, in a effort to figure these folks out I've started researching both Pleasant Moore and Pleasant Moon.
