From Pieter Dijkstra (70): Same as Person:Pieter Dijkstra (13)? [18 October 2010]

Klaas, I believe this Pieter Dijkstra is the same as Person:Pieter Dijkstra (13).

It looks as though he married Grietje Sijbrands IJwina in 1815, but had his first child with Akke Douwes Wijngaarden in 1823. He then filed for divorce 11 May 1824, but it wasn't recorded until 4 Mar 1840. He had two more children with Akke and died in 1840. Grietje is listed on his death certificate (as separated from). Please correct me if I'm wrong... I'm not too experienced with Dutch divorce certificates. --Jennifer (JBS66) 11:36, 18 October 2010 (EDT)

I don't think they were married either... it also looks like Grietje had children with another person as well. I wonder what would have taken the divorce 16 years to process?? Without that finalized, he and Akke couldn't have formally married anyway, right?
