Too many marriages? [15 May 2009]

Source:Publications of the Colonial Society of Massachusetts (481450), p. 5:179-181, "John Davis of York" by Herny H. Edes, says Mary Puddington, widow of George Puddington m. John Davis of York. She had two daughters Mary who m. Peter Weare, and Sarah who m. John Penwill. Mary was administrator of her husband's estate in 1692, and her will is dated 21 Jan 1718-19, so she clearly outlived him.
